Precision Fixation for Precast Concrete Inserts

The LNR Series Threaded Socket Magnet (also known as a Magnetic Locating Plate) is the essential tool for securing threaded lifting sockets, transport anchors, and connecting sleeves to steel casting beds. How It Works The unit consists of a high-performance magnetic base equipped with a central threaded stud. You simply screw your threaded concrete insert onto the stud and place the magnet onto your steel table. The powerful magnetic force ensures the socket stays perfectly perpendicular and flush against the formwork during the heavy vibrations of the concrete pour, preventing any displacement or tilting. Universal & Interchangeable Options Designed for maximum versatility in the precast plant, the LNR series supports a wide range of standard socket sizes. Both the LNR50 and LNR70 models are compatible with M10, M12, M16, M20, and M24 threads. Key Benefits:
  • Table Protection: Completely eliminates the need to drill holes or weld on your expensive steel formwork tables.
  • Flawless Accuracy: Ensures the socket is perfectly vertical and sits flush with the final concrete surface.
  • Leak-Proof Seal: The flat face of the magnet seals tightly against the table, while the socket seals against the magnet, preventing concrete slurry from seeping into the threads.
  • Durable Construction: Encased in a robust, yellow zinc-plated steel housing to protect the magnetic core from impact, moisture, and corrosion.
  • Efficiency: Instant installation and rapid removal significantly reduce setup and demolding times.

Technical Specifications

Model Available Thread Sizes (M) Pull-off Force
LNR50 M10, M12, M16, M20, M24 60 kg
LNR70 M10, M12, M16, M20, M24 105 kg
Note: The model numbers (50 and 70) typically correspond to the base diameter in millimeters. Pull-off force is the vertical holding power measured on a clean, thick steel plate.

Application Instructions

  1. Assemble: Screw the threaded lifting socket or insert hand-tight onto the threaded stud of the LNR magnet.
  2. Position: Place the assembled unit onto the clean steel casting table at your marked location. The magnet will instantly lock it down.
  3. Pour: Pour and vibrate the concrete as usual. The magnetic grip ensures the socket will not float or shift.
  4. Demold: Once the concrete cures, lift the precast element. The magnet will detach from the steel table and remain attached to the concrete element via the thread.
  5. Remove: Unscrew the magnetic plate from the socket, leaving the threaded insert perfectly embedded and ready for use.
