The Rubber Recess Former is a critical accessory for precast concrete manufacturers using the ball head (spherical) lifting anchor system. Application Instructions
- Assembly: Push the ball head of the steel anchor into the rubber recess former. It should fit snugly.
- Mounting: Attach the former to the formwork.
- For steel tables: Use a magnetic holding plate.
- For timber: Use a screw-on holding plate.
- Pouring: Pour the concrete. The tight rubber seal prevents slurry from entering the anchor head area.
- Demolding: Once the concrete is cured, remove the formwork.
- Removal: Use a removal tool or manual force to pop the rubber former out of the concrete recess, leaving the anchor head exposed and ready for lifting.
