Secure Electrical Boxes Instantly without Damaging Your Forms

The RD Series Magnetic Box Fixers are essential tools for the precast concrete industry. Engineered to hold recessed electrical boxes firmly in place during the casting process, these magnetic fixtures completely eliminate the traditional, destructive methods of drilling holes or welding onto expensive steel shuttering tables. A Comprehensive Range for Every Application Whether you are casting standard single round wall boxes or larger double/rectangular junction boxes, the RD Series has a size to match perfectly. Our extended range covers everything from the compact RD45 up to the heavy-duty RD138, ensuring you have the exact fit for your specific electrical conduit components. High-Performance Grip Despite their compact profiles, each magnet in the RD series utilizes a powerful integrated neodymium magnetic system. This delivers an exceptional vertical pull-off force that ensures your electrical boxes remain perfectly aligned and securely anchored, even under the intense vibration of concrete pouring. Durable & Protective Design The magnets are encased in a durable housing that serves two crucial purposes:
  1. Corrosion Resistance: It seals the magnetic core against moisture and alkaline concrete slurry, greatly extending the tool's lifespan.
  2. Easy Demolding: The specialized shape facilitates easy removal from the hardened concrete, leaving a pristine, ready-to-use recess for the electrical box installation.
Key Benefits:
  • Zero Formwork Damage: No drilling or welding required; drastically extends the lifespan of your steel casting tables.
  • Time-Saving: Instant setup, positioning, and removal.
  • Cost-Effective: Highly durable and reusable for hundreds of casting cycles with proper care.
  • Universal Fit: A wide variety of dimensions specifically shaped for standard European electrical wall boxes.

How to Use

  1. Mark: Identify and mark the exact desired position on your steel casting table.
  2. Place: Position the RD magnet on the mark. The powerful magnetic force will lock it down instantly.
  3. Attach: Snap or screw your plastic electrical junction box onto the magnet.
  4. Pour: Pour and vibrate the concrete as usual. The magnet ensures no shifting occurs.
  5. Demold: Once cured, lift the concrete element. The magnet will either remain on the table or can be easily popped out of the cast box using a basic removal tool.
