The RD Series Rubber Coated Socket Magnet (also known as a schroefhuls magneet met rubber) is a highly efficient tool for the precast concrete industry. It is designed to securely anchor threaded transport sockets, lifting inserts, and connection sleeves to steel casting tables, while simultaneously acting as a protective recess former. Flexible Protection & Perfect Sealing Unlike standard bare-metal locating plates, the RD series encapsulates its powerful magnetic core in a durable rubber body. This rubber housing provides several distinct advantages:- Formwork Protection: It guarantees zero scratching or damage to your expensive steel casting tables when placing or sliding the magnet.
- Slurry Seal: The flexible rubber compresses slightly against the steel formwork and around the base of the threaded socket, creating a watertight seal that prevents cement paste from leaking into the threads.
- Clean Recess: It forms a smooth, shallow recess around the embedded socket in the final concrete element, which is often required for attaching lifting clutches or protective caps.
- No Welding or Drilling: Preserves the lifespan of your steel formwork tables.
- Integrated Rubber Housing: Protects tables and ensures easy, clean demolding.
- Interchangeable System: Supports M10 through M30 threads on a single magnetic base.
- Flawless Accuracy: Keeps threaded inserts perfectly vertical during vibration and curing.

Application Instructions
- Assemble: Select the correct threaded stud (M10-M30) and screw the lifting socket or insert hand-tight onto the RD magnet.
- Position: Place the assembled unit onto the clean steel casting table. The magnetic grip will hold it firmly in place.
- Pour: Pour and vibrate the concrete. The rubber base will prevent any slurry from entering the socket.
- Demold: Once the concrete cures, lift the precast element. The magnet will detach from the steel table and remain in the concrete.
- Remove: Unscrew the rubber magnetic plate from the socket. The rubber ensures it pops out of the concrete easily, leaving the threaded insert perfectly embedded with a clean surrounding recess.
